RESELLER NEWS is proud to announce the winners of the Innovation Awards in 2022, featuring a leading and diverse line-up of partners, vendors, distributors and individuals across New Zealand.

The winners were selected from 2244 finalists (including 65+ individuals) which made the shortlist from a pool of over 100 organisations, spanning partner, start-up, telco, vendor and distributor businesses.

Celebrated during a black-tie event at Cordis, Auckland on 27 October that brought together more than 600 members of New Zealand’s channel community, this year’s Innovation Awards celebrated the accomplishments of more than 33 winners and a one new inductee into the RESELLER NEWS Hall of Fame – Vanessa Sorenson.

RESELLER NEWS congratulates SIMPLIFY SECURITY on your recognition in the SECURITY TECH INNOVATION category,” said Cherry Yumul, vice president of Channel, APAC at Foundry.

“This is an impressive line-up of business and individual excellence across the channel and we are proud to recognise and celebrate such achievements.”

“The success stories behind these awards are testament to how adept the technology industry is at turning challenges into opportunities and how as a community we come together to do good. Congratulations from RESELLER NEWS.”

In 2022, the Innovation Awards honoured the channel across no fewer than eight categories, spanning Partner Innovation, Tech Innovation, NZ-wide Innovation, Start-up Innovation, Personal Innovation, Vendor Innovation, Distributor Innovation and Hall of Fame.

Last year saw the introduction of a new category, NZ-wide Innovation, which recognises partners headquartered outside of the two most-populated metropolitan areas in the country (Auckland and Wellington) delivering customer value and transformation.

Reflective of a diverse technology network, finalists ranged from large-scale multinational consultancy firms to emerging start-ups, alongside leading system integrators, managed service providers and solution consultants, plus cloud specialists, independent software vendors, boutique agencies and application developers. This is in addition to channel-centric vendors, telecommunications providers and supply chain experts.

Within this standout group, finalists, highly commended and winners were located across the entire country.

In addition to honouring winners, RESELLER NEWS also holds wider responsibility for ensuring as many credible technology providers are endorsed through this unique awards program, aligned to the collective goal of providing a platform upon which the ecosystem can shine across New Zealand.

“Customer innovation is no longer a marketing slogan, rather a refreshing reality in New Zealand given the wealth of transformative projects and examples of best practice featured in 2022,” Yumul added.

“Enormous credit to the market-leading companies and individuals continuing to press ahead in helping customers innovate at pace – despite the notable difficulties – which once again demonstrates the depth of transformation taking place across the region. Congratulations SIMPLIFY SECURITY, nothing can stop your pursuit of excellence.”

The winners were selected by an executive panel of industry judges – acknowledging creativity, innovation and excellence.
